Today i felt drawn to the colour red. So i have made a series of all the invitation cards and posters with red in them. I just typed “red symbolism” into Google and the following description came up: Red is the color of extremes. It’s the color of passionate love, seduction, violence, danger, anger, and adventure. Our prehistoric ancestors saw red as the color of fire and blood – energy and primal life forces – and most of red’s symbolism today arises from its powerful associations in the past.
I cannot explain why i chose these two pieces other than simply the play on words in my native English. Like me, they are a bit simple, but unlike mr they probably have more thought in the background…
The secound piece also reminded me of Postsecret which I like very much.

I don’t know the artist. But I viewed the exhibition by myself (me + I) on my first day in Zurich after a long trip here from California. Jat lag and the golden boloons on the ceiling combined to make me relaxed.
